Veterans have higher rates of tinnitus due to the noise levels they encounter while in the service, including gunfire, machinery, aircraft, and more. Over 167,000 veterans were diagnosed with tinnitus in 2021 and over 2.5 million veterans are currently receiving disability benefits for tinnitus.

The Levo System is an approved medical device by the VA for treatment of tinnitus. Veterans may qualify for benefits through the Veterans Administration (VA), and qualify to participate in the VA’s Progressive Tinnitus Management (PTM) program. The program includes five stages of support and treatment:
Level 1 – Referral
Level 2 – Audiologic Evaluation
Level 3 – Skills Education
Level 4 – Interdisciplinary Evaluation
Level 5 – Individualized Support
